aFreeGo.com has been a very large and popular shareware site on the Internet for many years. When we first started the site we had no idea how popular it would become. We also allowed 'anonymous' PAD submissions without requiring authors to create an account on aFreeGo.com.
Over time it has become apparent that certain features can only be offered if we are able to link software listings to an author account. By doing this we are able to offer you more control over your software listings as well as additional exposure for your listings using promotional features such as software reviews.
To do any Author tasks on aFreeGo.com you must
have an Author Account. It is free to create an Author account on aFreeGo.com. We ask for a minimum of personal information and none of it is published on the site.
Some of the things that you can do with an Author Account :
 Submit PAD files for listing / update
Claim existing listings that belong to you
Receive reviews on your software
Write reviews on software belonging to other authors
Delete software listings
Force a re-poll of your PAD files
Create a free Author account now.
To get more exposure for your listings you will want to upgrade your
account to a higher level account. The higher the account level, the
more exposure your listings receive. Also, the higher the account,
the more discount you receive on promotion options.
In the table below you will see the different account levels, their
costs, and the tasks that can be performed at each level, along with
the benefits or each account level. Tasks and benefits are cumulative,
meaning that, for example, a benefit for the Silver level, will also
be a benefit at Gold and higher levels.

The Signup Cost is a one-off cost, and is deducted
from your account balance immediately. If you are upgrading to a higher
level account from an account above Bronze level then the signup cost
will be the difference between the signup charges (already paid) for
your current account level and the level you are upgrading to.
The Monthly
Subscription fee
is the ongoing cost per month. Your subscription payments will be
deducted from your account balance on the monthly anniversary date
of your signup. So, if you sign up for a Bronze account (free) on
22 April,
then
upgrade your account to Silver on 3 May, your first monthly subscription
payment will be deducted from your account balance on 22 May.
Account Funding
To keep things as simple and easy as possible, and because
we do not agree with multiple ongoing charges to your credit card,
you must pre-fund your account with an amount of your choice. The
signup fee, ongoing monthly subscriptions and any promotions you
choose to
buy, are deducted from your aFreeGo.com account balance.

Coupons
From time to time we offer special coupons, which add value to any account
funding you perform. These coupons either add a fixed amount to any account
funds you purchase, or they add a percentage of the amount you purchase. Coupon
information may be found on multiple web sites around the Internet, and are emailed out at times.
